I run into the same problem ophiura does. After a day and a half enough water evaporates so my return pump is only have submerged in the water and then i start getting crap loads of micro bubbles and really teh whole filter process shuts down due to lack of water. It sucks. . .

It would only be harder in the beginning when your going through the whole setup process. Once the tank is established and you know how she moves it would get easier. You would just have to get the auto feeder like you mentioned and probably something to replace the water that would evaporate...

The only thing that i would have to add is please don't use damsels if you can. Especially if you think you would take them out later. Damsels are very aggressive. Not all but most. I agree. Sounds like a feather duster. They are filter feeders. So you won't be able to throw food at them and get them to eat. You need to add a phytoplankton or something. I'm no expert though so don't ask me what to recommend.

I dunno. IMO it kinda looks like a feather duster starting to grow a crown. But it is alittle blury but it reminds me of mine when a smaller feather started a new crown for me.

As far as inverts go, i have: 1 coralbanded 1 arrow crab 3 peppermint shimp 2 cleaner shrimp 2 camelback shrimp 1 sally lightfoot 1 brittle star 1 serpeant start And they all get along just fine. If one gets to0 close to the coralbanded or arrow crab then they get chased away but thats about it.
