I just bought a tiny regal tang and was curious as the types of algea everyone feeds theirs. I dont want to rely on what the tank produces alone. Any particular brands or types of herbivorous food that would keep him happy?

it is mainly all of my rocks that are exposed to light. Almost every rock in the tank has it. In addition to what I have originally have asked, what would keep hair algae from growing when I upgrade to a 100 gal from my current 18 gal? I have heard that RO units prevent it...true?

I am battling hair algae and green glass algae

I currently have an 18 gallon tank with 1 snail, l blue legged hermit and 2 scarlet legged hermits. I was wondering, based on general rules of thumb, if I should be stocking more snails/hermits based on the size of my tank (18 gal)? Thoughts?
