Well i had a total tank wipeout form ich. My question is if i leave my main tank fishless for a month or so will the ich be gone without a host or does it have to be longer.I also have LR in my tank to do i want to treat the tank with any chemicals to help the process.

The only reason i asked was if it leaked into the basement from the floor abovethere might be problems.If it soaked thought hard wood or carpet means that it soaked though the wood underlayment. That to be a problem later on down the road if you go to put any furniture there or your tank again...

i've had both glass and acrylic.I like the acrylic much better just sems to be clearer to me . But as far as cleaner you just have to becareful of acrylic not to scratch it besides that i love my acrylic tank.

Mine live together peacefully, they actually are buddys always swimming together.I would add the regal first they are more peaceful, and yes they get ich easy.

As with any kid and anything that can harm them or your stuff. You just have to teach them that they can't tap on the glass or acrylic in my case.I have a 3 yr and had a tank since he was born and just taught him that you can't do that.It's actually worked out fine for me as far as other kids...

Hey bronco is they anyway you can build a custom sump or even explain how you make them . Iwould like to build a custom one for my 300 gal tank.

Not really sure got it used but it's about a 20 gallon and i just have bioballs in it now.I want to go bigger and better than just bio balls .

Make sure the prones are set right if there not seated properly it won't work.Also i would always do it with the lights off then you will get a complete cycle started.

Anyone have any ideas or blueprints to doing this i would really appricate it .
