Sorry, Schedule meaning pipe thickness. Wall thickness. Like PVC pipe is typically sch 40. Then there is PVC sch 20. You can not put these two together. They have different internal diameters.

gotchya, should i maybe get a 1 1/4 pvc elbow and just put that on top since that would be the closest to it?

I really can't say. I don't know the out side diameter of the pipe on your skimmer. I also don't know the inside diameter of an 1 1/4 fitting off the top of my head.

Got a Home Depot close by. Take that measurement there and find something that has an inside measurement like that.

That explains why the 1" fitting matches the pipe. (pretty much) There isn't any way to fit a bigger fitting? Even after it is rotated.

alrighty will do. and redirecting the drainage with an elbow won't do any harm to the skimmer? when I put the 1 inch elbow over it, my skimmer cup got high with water but it did eliminate the bubbles..

It might. You will need to re adjust the water level once the mod is made. But be prepared that the mod might not be possible.
At least you have confirmation on the issue.

Re adjust the water level in the skimmer via the air or the valve if so equipped. That way you can keep the bubbles at the proper height.

Not scared. My daughter had to use the computer. School.
Yes that is what I am talking about.
Hey, how is the skimmer set up? Would it be possible to raise the skimmer up on a stand and let the baffle sit between the skimmer and the discharge pipe?
Oh, it looks like the RP is hard lined in.
