DEPENDS....are they threatening me or my well being?????
I really have never shot anyone....LOL....CAN I....IDK.....I know I am well armed though if someone were to come after me....Being armed and acting are 2 different things...I HOPE that if threatened I WILL ACT.....I HOPE that if our borders are threatened...our "protectors" will act too.....that's all I can say or ask for....

You are living in a fantasy world if you don't think a majority of the country wants the border invasion stopped.

If you tell a group of 20 people stop and they don't then by all means start shooting. Cops make the same kind of decisions every day. I see no reason not to give the border patrol the same authority. Just making sure those crossing the border know it's an option will be a deterrent. As far as Mexicans go your honest run of the mill Mexican is a fine person. Unfortunately that isn't the only thing crossing the border. Even those who are coming over for work are mostly low or unskilled workers who will not earn a lot of money here. They don't pay income taxes and the sales taxes they might pay don't come close to covering the services they use.

Thank you for proving my point. It is not the "nice" Mexicans who are controlling the border. It is the Juarez and Sonora cartels who control the border. You mean the "nice" Mexicans who tortured and beheaded 5 Juarez police officers and hung their bodies on an overpass? You really are as naive (or willingly blind to get all those new Democrats on the government dole) as I thought. You don't have 1 ounce of understanding of what we who live on the border are up against. All those "nice" Mexicans are paying the cartels to escort them over the border. Do you know how many of the "nice" Mexicans are being held for ransom and tortured and murdered by the cartels? You are no more a friend of the "nice" Mexicans as you are of your own country. Why not one word from you about the corrupt Mexican society that forces these people from their homes? Well that wouldn't further your political goals would it?

I knew I liked you! At 18 my Dad had to leave for a "reserve" weekend. He took me out and handed me a .38, within a few hours I was comfortable and shot easily. My room was upstairs. He said......if someone come in the house and you say "I have a gun" and nothing is said or they don't leave shoot....you have every right"

look at per capita.....
also Rio de Janerio runs circles around it. And the Olympic committee just awarded the 2016 (I think 2016) Olympics. what a joke. Right now there are police on every corner with machine guns. I know this for fact. My friends hubby has to travel there regularly. He and his work buddies had armed guards that take them from place to place. Nice huh?
Same with Mexico, he has to travel there and the same hold true. (I forget the city) But they have armed patrols taking them where they need to be.
Even the "tourist" cities are under stress right now. Most resorts tell their visitors NOT to leave the compound. WTH?
Most of the Mexican population are victims to this. Their government has abandoned them for corruption and no control.
Sorry, but when it comes down to the fact that innocents can't even drive down the street, go to work, deal with everyday life without be kidnapped, shot, gutted, strung up or whatever the hellz ALL in the name of drug lords, control, mobs etc......I don't think this country needs that type of person crossing our border. They WILL get come here, one at a time and set up shop and start all over again.

I missed that one BG. Now it all makes sense. They are dyed-in-the-wool leftists. That's why they want all the uneducated illegals here. It's easier to get millions of people with no understanding or care for our constitution to go along with their lefty Utopian plans.

Most of the illegals don't even want to be citizens, they are only interested in the jobs and free services they get. That's what Mexico is interested in too. The have offices in most states that help Mexicans get all the freebies they can. It frees up more cash for them to send back home. It's the "latino" activists who want to make them citizens because they think it will increase their political power in this country.
