Zactly. I place the safety of legal residents of this country ahead of the criminals crossing the border. Even those just coming for a job are knowingly breaking the law just crossing. Many of those will also use identity theft to obtain a job. What other laws will they be willing to break?

Quote from CNN. Okay, why would a border patrol officer shoot a 15-year old suspect that is 60 FEET (20 YARDS) away from him? Okay even if the kid was throwing rocks, how big of a rock could he throw at the officer at 60 feet away? Hmmm, bunch of gun happy cops. Or are they to fat to avoid a rock? To many donuts? Or ego problems clouding their judgement?

I absolutely love clay target shooting, trap shooting, and well....just plain shooting, blowing stuff up.
On the other hand, I hunt (deer, turkey, or whatever tastey moves around here). Point being, guns do kill....when I tell it to. But I control when it kills, or not. So Aqua is correct that there are other uses.

and there are multiple violations agains people with knives. Muggings, rapes, murders.....all with knvies. No guns. Period. "person died from multiple stab wounds........female raped at knife point" etc. The are all innocent object until someone chooses to make it violent. Cars, fireworks, bleach,DRUGS... I can go on for days. Its all in how you CHOOSE to use them. We have multiple guns, with locks in safes. Kids know how to use them, we all (my dad,kids, husband) do this for sport. My kids have more respect/knowledge for guns than thousands of adults put together. Their friends have no idea what they do for sport with their grandpa.
sticks, stones, guns, drugs, bricks, cars, knives, bow/arrows........what do you want removed? They are all weapons when used in a manor of agression. Look back in history what was used for fighting/killing/destruction

OMG! That brings back memories. When my oldest brother was about 20 he and my dad went at it. At one point my mom got in between them with a cast iron skillet and dared either of them to make a move on the other. They both declined. End of fight.

I do not know what is a more deadly weapon in the Hands of the Women from the Deep South like my wife. A Southern Baptist Hymnal or that Freaking Cast Iron Skillet. Our Basset Hound runs whenever he sees that skillet in her hands. On the other hand he did Housebreak himself in 2 days after she finally got mad with it. She used it on one of his Rawhide bones and broke it into pieces. I never saw a Basset hound squeeze into a hole smaller than 3 inches before but HE SURE DID.
