How often would you dose kent's liquid calcium reactor in a 55 gallon tank? Once a week twice a week. This is a reef tank, no corals yet. But I plan on adding some next week. Thanks

Sounds to me like your tank just fully cycled!!!! Do you some water changes every week and cut back on feedings. Also live rock and a DSB will have bacteria in them that break down nitrate so think about adding some to your tank if you dont already. Good Luck....

Does anyone know of a good auto topper to get? It would be great if i never had to add water to my tank again except during water changes? Also how do you know how much water replace? Seems kind of tricky. Thanks, Eric

I have a 20 gallon long tank sitting and running in my room. I am already quaratining my baby yellow tang in there. Seems like I am in trouble. I dont want to treat the tang for no reason. Those engineer gobies are going to be an absolute pain to catch.:happyfish

If it is the top fin it is farily common on a yellow tang. I am assuming you are talking about the unicorn appearence now. No one seems to be able to tell me why this happens but it is alright. Makes your fish special.

Would Ick spread to the other fish in my tank? My Royal Gramma is always copvered in little spots. However he is still eating and looks fine. He is always wedging himself in rocks. I also have a percula clown and 2 engineer gobies who show no signs of it. this has been going on for 2 weeks...

2 weeks into using kick ich and all has seemed to clear up.
