well if your tang did die the crab did his job. Crabs generally are part of a clean up crew that eat sick, dead, or dying fish. They also eat left over food and keep the tank clean. I doubt that 2 inch bristle crab would take down a tang. See if you can post a pic of the crab and i'm sure...
