I don't see any problem keeping them under that light because they are not really any better off under the VHO's. You will keep them alive if thats all you want to do until your friend can take them back and get them under MH hopefully.

132% ? I agree also but i don't know about the 132% part! You also mentioned ich. I would also either treat the tank or remove all fish that you decided to keep and put them in a QT and try hypo. Keep the fish out of the main tank for at least 30 days or the ich will remain in the tank

Thats where you are wrong. You want to see purple, pink, maroon, blueish/purple and even green. I have about 6 or so shade of coraline. I love the maroon and the blueish purple the best.
