    Is everything going wrong?!?!?!

WEclome to the boards. This is a great place for help. A 12G is going to need a lot of work. I had a 12G and a 150g for awhile and I spent about 3 times more energy every week monitering and adjusting the 12G as I had to on the 150G. Good luck!1 :happyfish :happyfish

    Jellyfish???

Do you have any live sand? If so maybe there was eggs in the sand when bought and they hatched. Pretty cool though.

    A digging puffer?

I watrched him today and he seemed to be sweeping the sand for a few seconds and then would turn and try and get something with his mouth(possibly the bristle worm that resides somewhere in my tank). He seems to be eating fine and is acting normal in all other regards. Just strange behavior...

    A digging puffer?

I noticed yesterday that my porc puffer was digging in the sand in a corner of my tank. He has so far cleared about a 4 inch square down to the glass. Is this unusual? :notsure: The tnak is a 150G and his tanksmates are a 4inch foxface, a 2 inch clown and a 3 inch bicolor angel fish. I have...

Not wanting to be rude th LFS owner.

The LFS near me usually offers to show me that the fish I'm interested in are eating before I buy them. This probably a good reason he has been in business for a long time and has a good reputation around here. I definitely would ask to see it eat. When I bought my puffer last year the first one...

    Fish question

I haven't decided yet and probably won't until after tax time. That's when I'm hoping to have the $$$ to set it all up. I'm leaning towards a hawk fish, the LFS near me has one that's been in there for a week or so now and I'm going Monday to watch him get fed. :happyfish :happyfish

    Fish question

There is still a lot to do for the new tank. Right now all I have is basically the tank, canopy and stand. I want that one to eventually be a reef tank.

    Fish question

The messiest eater in my tank is hands down the puffer. I have wet dry filter under my tank. I'm trying to go with mostly a peaceful tank, that's one of the reasons I was thinking hawkfish and yellow tang. the puffer and the foxface have their own cave, and the angel has his own to rest in a...

    What do I need?

Welcome to the boards. This is a very good place for advice. Another help that you might want to pickup is "The Conscientous Marine Aquarist" by Robert Fenner. That book plus this site have been invaluable tools for this fun and very addictive hobby. Good luck! :happyfish :happyfish

    Fish question

I currently have a 150G tank with a 5inch porc puffer, 4inch foxface, 2inch clown, and a 3inch bicolor angel(just added this week). I was thinking about adding another fish or 2 and need some help. I was thinking about a red hawkfish and possibly a yellow tang(pit in spaced out of course). My...
