i use kalk as well, but I have had more success using the needle to penetrate the stalk and then filling them full of kalk.

aces, i would not go with incandescent lighting as the spectrum will be wrong. Try looking through the threads in the equip. forum, theres a lot of good info there.

they are filter feeder, wont do much for your tank that look good. the tube worms are a sign of good water quality as are amphipods and copepods. they are more cosmetic than anything else. If you want better filtration you should concentrate on LR or skimming.
