You can use the QT just will have to make frequent small water changes IMO.

I just use a regular N.O. 12" aqaurium light. Works fine. Just do not want to be burning everything with a big wattage light. Barry

definately want 20-25x's for a reef. That does include skimmers, pumps, PH's etc.

Defiantely do it out of water. The button polyps (green ones) are not zoanthids so to speak. They are more territorial and mean. I would slice them off at the trunk and hope the orange zoas continue to grow. barry

MH are the best but heat up the tank and also can seriously affect your electrical usuage. Thats why I went T5. Barry

T5's are High Output (HO) flouresant lighting. The T5 means the size. I believe it means the bulb is 5/8th's thick. i just added them to my tank and could not be happier. Stronger than normal flour. bulbs and competative to metal halides when used with individual reflectors I am told. This...
