Heres how to REMOVE ICH from FISH safely!

Well now it's my turn to talk. IMO the best way to stop ich is to not get it in the first placel. To do this simply keep your water pristine (includes properly operating equipment, water quality, testing etc.) , feed good nutritious food to keep your fish healthy which includes FRESH garlic...

    Indian Trigger w/ Volitan Lion

I don't have a lionfish but I do have an Indian triggerfish (Melichthys indicus) which was sold to me from this site as a Hawaiian triggerfish (Melichthys niger). The Hawaiian gets a bit bigger then the Indian and has a bit more bluish color the changes hues whereas the Indian has more yellows...

Test Kits - Strips or Test Tubes?

I only use the test strips occasionally for a ballpark reading. I have never had my pH off by mush in comparing the Sailfert, Red Sea and the test strips. I would be carefull if my pH got above 8.4, imo is the max and you stand the chance of precipition above that. Seawater runs from 7.6 in the...

    Why?

Usually the rarer the fish the higher the price. Maybe they are hard to come by.

Cheapest way to cool your tank!!!

I just aim a few of he slats from my ac vent at the tank. Every year when summer comes I aim 5 of the slats toward the tank and keeps my tank from 77.5 to 79. No extra fans taking up a power plug and no water bottles to freeze.

    pH Fluctuations?

Home depot sells it. I got a sheet for around $9 and cut it to size. Cat hair should not hurt anything as long as there is no flea chemicals on the cat like a flea collar. If you brush the cat at least once a week then the shedding should lessen.

    serpent star fish???

I feed mine krill, scallops, squid, and pellets and it grew from about 3 inches to about 10 inches now. He lives with my diamond goby under the rocks in a cave. I think the goby brings it food sometimes.

    pH Fluctuations?

Another pH couldn't hurt and might help. Can't you use an egg crate weighted down with something so the cat can't catch sushi?

How Do You Raise Ph Safely??

A pH of 8.0 is not low. Ocean water ranges anywhere from 7.6 in the open sea to 8.4 in the reef areas with 7.8 being the average. What you really want is stability so as not to change more then .2 in a 24 hour period.

hawaiian black trigger calm or killer

I have a one with a Kole Tang, Coral Beauty, Maroon Clown and Diamond Goby. He is very tame but does chase the tang once in a while. I think the tang is actually more aggressive. He doesn't bother the others. the maroon clown sometimes chases the trigger away from his territory. I agree that...

    How should i fill a 90?

You can buy the water at walmart or some places have a water machine. You might want to invest in an RO system because you will need it for the top off water (evaporation) and also water changes. You can get one for pretty cheap and it will be way worth it.
