Be careful stiring up your sand, if it's got a lot of debris in it (and I bet it does) and you stir it up you may cause a bad ammonia spike. If your feeling adventurous get youself a Fuzzy Chiton for the CUC. They are sereiously weird looking but man do they do a great clean up job. I have two and they each stay in their own area and keep it spotlessly clean. My LFS store special ordered mine under $10.

You should consider a no crab CUC. I've banished most of mine to the refugium and the snails could not be more grateful.
