I run a hang on filter and run carbon in it to polish the water. When I don't run it, there is a huge difference. It won't hurt anything, many people do this.

Mine is about 3-4 inches. My lfs has one about 12 inches across in their show tank so they can get pretty big.

wow at 3 weeks you should definately have attached. Are you netting tight? My red shrroms attached much quicker than the blue ones. I fragged them to the same rock, and the reds took, but the blues just floated away. I know it can be aggravating. No flow is the trick I think...

How long are you letting the net stay on? You should keep it on for a week or two. I would say at ten days, you would have attachment... Glueing shrooms doesn't work very well. Natural attachment is the way to go. Just make sure you keep them in an area with little to no flow until you take...

Good question, I have halides, and mine never seems to be happy. Always on the move, half the time just rolling around. Doesn't like to eat meaty foods, but it always looks healthy. Just don't really know how to make it happy? If you find the secret, please let me know.

Feed him alot. Feed your tank bioplankton about an hour before your lights go off. After the lights are off, he will extend his polyps out and you can then spot feed him with mysis or brine. It will get used to this feeding time and will become very easy. Takes me under 5 minutes total time...

I have a purple reef lobster and he is very quiet. Doesn't bother anything. Only really see him when I feed the tank. other than that, he stays in his cave system that he has worked beneith the rocks.

Yes you can slice up the original just taking out a piece. Might look funny for a while. I will look into finding a pic of the original. Lemme see if I can find one...

Just an update for you guys. It has been a week, and it seems as if all frags have attached properly. The only problems I had was when I removed the netting from the shroom frags, the blue shrooms floated away, The orange frags were attached good. Maybe I didn't have the blue shrooms tight...
