If you are really worried about the level being low a way to raise the salininty is to take some water out of the tank and add salt to it and then put the water back in the tank. If you do decide to do this then you have to do it really slow. What do you have in the tank to cycle it?

I believe they are called sea squirts. They are harmless and a sign that your tanks are doing great.

That is a great tank I love all of the corals you have in there. What are the sizes of all of the fish? If there is room I would look at a flame hawk.

According to the instructions that came with my Maxima filter you are supposed to run like ten gallons of product water before you use it and I would suggest that you double it.

Everything that I see in the pic are mushrooms. Do you have any other pics of what you got? I would if I were you get the corals in a tank that has proper light ASAP.

I know that the maroon clowns can be agressive with other clown but I have not heard of saddle clowns or percs being agressive with other clowns. By the way what size tank do you have?

I agree that shrooms don't like real high light. They are fine where they are. When you do get the second halide I think it might be to much light where they are. P.S. they look great and I wold love to have any extras also.

If I am correct the only difference between the two skimmers are the fact that the reef ready one does not have the "bio bale" which has additional bio filtration. The big deal with bubbles in a reef tank is if they get in your corals and pop you can really damage the corals of a reef tank.

The reason that you don't hear of this all that muchis because there is not that much GPH force of a canister or powerhead.
