Large Angel in a 5 foot tank

My vote is for only one of those tangs--if you chooses the purple (theyre awesome!) add him last because you're right about the aggression thing. Good deal on a tank!:D Good Luck

    all over the place!!!!

Kent pro scraper offers a stainless steel blade fortheir scraper, I just ordered a replacement blade and it's perfect for that hard stuff. The replacement comes with a little handle (that you're supposed to attach) very easy to handle. I agrtee that they may just be adjusting to the new lights

need help please in seting up tank

I also have never heard of the Planter, but I do know you don't NEED one especially at 200:eek: Be careful, some lfs' will sell you everything, mine was convinced I could not run my tanks properly without UV sterilizer and a 350 dollar wet/dry. Well I guess I showed him. Good Luck

    switching from cc to ls

Frustrating I know, there are alot of different opinions, on just about everything. What i do in a case like this is go for a majority ruling. I'm fairly certain that the majority will rule in favor of ls. I'm not sure why your lfs guy would tell you it's hard to clean when you don't...

    Opinions on Tank Manufacturers

Glass-loved the oceanic for years and years. Now the proud owner of a custom Tenecor 170bowfront with oak stand and canopy. Acrylic does scratch, but what I've noticed is that I really don't notice them. Only when I'm cleaning or specifically scratch checking can I find the few there are (a...

    LR without lights...

Are you talking about no lights at all or just normal lighting until you can afford the good reef type lighting? I think lr is just fine under normal output lights, true it won't grow much NEW color, but it won't die off or bleach out either. Trust me there are plenty of awesome FOWLR tanks with...

    a new set up

Upgrade as soon as your inhabitants tell you to. In case your one who has overstocked to begin with or bought fish who were too big (or grew too big) for your tank. IF not, upgrade only when and if you can afford to and feel like it.

    OT: Best Aquarium

Herer in very cold (still) Minnesota we have underwater world at the Mall of America. I love it and think it's awesome we go a couple times a year. And even if you think it stinks you just walk down another lane or two to the indoor amusement park, Camp Snoopy. Enjoy

    Cleaning Magnet

I liked my algae-free one but they're spendy, and my large one is quite capable of breaking fingers. ( I got the tiger shark (I think thats what it is called.

    what now?

I never much liked the general rule thing 1inch/ 5gs as I don't think it's real practical. Let your current fish and your water quality be your guide as to whether or not you should continue adding. I agree that the more rock you have the more homes you can provide the smaller fish, but you...
