I know the lighting could be stronger, I thought I'd give it a try. My water specs. stay pretty good with weekly water changes. I was thinking of putting a light on the tank from the outside shinning thought the glass,but was told the glass would defuse the light. Any thoughts on that?

I had my xenias in the mid level of my tank and they moved up to the top for more light and flow "I guess". They did this within 3 to 4 days, and off the rock they came on.Good luck.

I have some fuzzy brown algae on my star polys.This just appeared all the sudden. The polys have closed and are opening a little but I can still see alot of algae. I put a little Iodine supplement in could this cause the algae? Any suggestions.

What size tank do you have? When you do a water change do the corals at the top of the tank not have water on them,and for how long?

If you are handy you can build your own. 2x4's would do great with a outside finish with 1xs. I think 1 gal of water is 8.5lbs. It would be best if you could put your tank across the3or4 floor joist.Hope this helps.

I have a 12 gal nano and I use poly filter instead of a p.skimmer. It seems to do fine with weekly water changes.
