Unless I am wrong, that is an acrylic sump, and from the looks of it, it would be kind of easy to repair, but I do not think I would part with a hundred dollar bill for it and then have to repair it. They would have to come off a bunch more money for me to buy it........I probably would not go...

I thin k they make a great specimen tank. I h ave a tank I call my Tank of Undesireables, which is chock full of huge bristle worms, aipstasia, manjano and a few rogue hermits and a mantis shrimp, and tons of asterina star fish. Its actually more interesting than the other reef tanks I have.

MOre surface area for beneficial stuff as wel as its more suited to burrowoing type critters which abound in most any sw setup from worms to snails etc. Also best for sand sifting fish and critters........and it does not provide deep places that are out of reach where detriuis/ food etc can...
