    I just pulled the rock with the eggs and mantis shrimp out and put it into a bucket with water. I'll put some food in the bucket to coerce it out and try to get a pic.

    Okay, I was looking at my hawkfish when all of the sudden I saw something purple-brownish scurry under a rock. It looks like a shrimp... could it be a mantis shrimp? I was looking at some pics of them, but they weren't the same color as this guy. Also I couldn't see if he has the mantis like...

    blenny and goby question

    From my own experience, I have a scooter blenny and a yellow watchman goby and they get along just fine. The blenny eats a lot of the stuff living on the LR and LS (microfauna). The watchman really likes formula one pellets with garlic. I've also seen him eating some worms and frozen mysis...

    I like the small ones. Buy them all small, they grow together... not to mention it is a lot easier on the wallet! Besides, like kittens, they are cuter when they are young!

    oh bummer! I am so sorry for your loss. Don't give up. I have been where you are. I found that the best thing you can do is just educate yourself and not rely on people like that. If I were you, I would look into getting a pair of clowns to start. What about building a cleaning crew...

    I absolutely love mine! I have a 120g tank and he is constantly on the move! No problems with him eating any of my fish. He adds a lot to the tank.

    My sister just gave up her saltwater tank and gave me her 2 clowns in the process.... they are both 12 years old!!!! No pressure.... :scared:
