Since you are feedig twice a day, which is pretty frequent, you might be overfeeding and getting ammonia spikes everytime you feed which could kill your fish. I cant speak for everyone, but I personally feed every other day. It is better to underfeed than overfeed.

good luck!!! id also say no fish for cycling. Use raw shrimp or you could even add fish food. Check your levels first though because sometimes when you add LR it has enough ammonia in it so that you dont need to add shrimp or food! This has been the case in every tank I have ever set up.

i have a seaclone and it works good. you just have to adjust the air tube to get it right.
