Your clean up crew for your tank will have to be you, sorry but your puffer will not allow for any inverts in your tank with out "tasting" them himself. To keep him from eating other fish, you must have fish that are similar in size to your puffer. So if you puffer is 3", then fill your tank...

If you don't have corals, keeping hte tank temp at 80 to 82 is the best preventative against ick. Ick grows or whatever at 79 and below, so keeping the temp at 80 even reduces and almost elimates ick in the tank. ~~Megan
