150 reef from start to finish

I wouldn't freak on the crushed coral untill you start to see problems. It's not the best thing out there to use, but don't go through a ton of trouble at the moment I say.

24 gallon Aquapod owners, Need Help

Use egg crate to keep them from jumping out if you don't want to use glass tops. As far as reasoning for jumping out could be multiple reasons. It could have been frightened or chased by anbother fish. Especially if they were a pair because mate will chase each other around & what not while mating.

    jbj viper vs coralife

I have no experience with the metal halides, but since no one has answered yet I'll say something about Coralife fixturs. I have a freshwater dual T-5 Coralife fixture & I love it & seems to be extremely good quality.

    crushed coral ???

Yeah, used to it was thought ot be great. Though now people realize that it can mess with the calcium & possibly cause nitrate problems. However though I feel like it is a little blown out of proportion. I wouldn't say to get it, but then again if you had it in a tank that is doing fine & has...

    Fuge.. need help BADLY!

As others have said get a HOB overflow have it go into you refuge, it should go pretty slow I believe so a valve might be a good thing. Then have a pump return it to your display tank. Or if you could get it a little higher than your display you could have the side of the refuge drilled & put a...

    New Tank W/ ?'s

There definately are, but they will be lights that are really for smaller tanks I believe. If you are planning on keeping corals or anemones then you may have a hard time finding a light that will suit your needs. However I would say get measurements of the tank & see what size of light fixture...

Caribsea Aragonite Aragamax Sugar-Sized Sand - OK????

That is the same type of sand as I just used. Sand shouldn't be messed with a ton, but it does need to be aerated. A lot of clean up crew animals help with this. Like hermits, some snails, & conchs, also stars. You could do it yourself by possibly getting a thin wooden dowel or something of the...
