soft corals would probably be a good choice the ones you listed are fine stars and mushrooms do well in smaller tanks.. i set up a 2 gal with some stars and mushrooms in it and it looks great.. you could go for some macroalgeas as well.. good luck Brian

I never have a problem telling .. my tank has so many bristle worms and hermit crabs in it that if a snail dies it's sad empty shell is all that's left after a few hours.. if it's not moving or hasn't moved in a couple days ..it's a pretty good bet that it's not gonna move ever again... Brian.

IMO.. you'd probably want to go with something well over 100 gallons.. they can get somewhat large and need a lot of room to graze and swim... they are very beautiful fish we have one at the lfs where i work..he's georgeous..don't know about their hardiness other then the fact that ours is doing...
