    Worm ID (weird)

Honestly don't know - but it's apparent that the answer would be yea if he's been there for three months. You can google it to find more info haven't seen anything here about them.

    strange growth on rock

You are probably looking at amphipods - they are beneficial scavengers and a supplemental food source for many fish and even some corals.

    Starting a 110 Gallon

you can run a search and find countless threads on sumps and refugiums here but equally important in a "carnivore" tank will be good skimming so don't overlook that piece of equipment.

    Worm ID (weird)

Looks like Synaptula to me - they are not harmful but require certain types of sponges for survival.

    Stonefish Help Please

Stonefish are typically only earthtones - this is how they aquired the name - they look like a rock on the sea floor. They do often have patches of color such as red, yellow, orange that looks like coraline growth thus enhancing their camaflouge. They come from Indo-Pacific and Australia...

Will a PJ and Banjaii cardinal group?

It is possible that they will hang out in the same area at times but normally they will not "group"

    What's in my tank?

Maybe worth taking a scoop and finding out exactly what it is. Possibly a conch? Unusual that it is only mounding though.

    Lionfish & Puffer

The harlequin is not a very good selection for any home tank - they grow very large and pretty quickly. That one fish alone is too big for your tank. The rest of them will be fine

    can you frag a star

Stars typically do not clone in captivity although there have been rare instances of it happening. If you attempt to do it it you likely will not only lose the leg you cut off but kill the star in the process. In the wild they can clone from any part of their body - not needing any mouth portion.

    Set up question.....

the inverts can not be "brought back" but new rock may introduce new ones - this of course is not guaranteed unless you hand pick the rock. the pods should be present in the LS you've added and will build their population in time. Let the cycle finish before you start tinkering or adding...

Cycling 2 weeks is this possible?

It is possible for a tank to cycle in two weeks. If there is any ammonia then the tank is not fully cycled yet or you have something dead and/or decaying in it. You should hold off on any chemical additives and not try to adjust calcium at this time. Let the cycle complete and then you can make...

    killer coral banded shrimp?

CBS are commonly aggressive and opportunistic - so he may very well have killed them I have one in a community tank with peps, skunk, chromis, clown, and many others - he began to get the aggressive behavior so when feeding time comes around I would hand deliver next to him a shrimp pellet and...

    Royal Gramma question

Mine is now out most of the time - but as i said before any sudden movement or anything he darts into his hole and will sit there with his head sticking out until he feels safe again.

    tempered glass

you could hit it with a hammer - if it's tempered it will shatter and not crack kidding of course. Most tanks are made with tempered glass on the bottoms - if you look closely in one of the corners there may be that info etched into it.

    Algae blenny chasing tang

That's a new one to me - very unusual behavior - the blenny must be confused lol - they are aggressive to their own kind - give it some time to settle in (as long as there is no physical damage being done) and just consider it exercise for the hippo and blenny.

    Royal Gramma question

Royal Grammas are relatively shy and do tend to hide in the rock - particularly when there is sudden movement around the tank. Many will grow accustomed to your presence and stay out most of the time - give it some time and frequent visits moving slowly around it.

    thoughts/experiences with coral banded shrimps?

CBS are aggressive and opportunistic - if it can make a meal of a fish it will - they can also go after other inverts. They are not all that way - they can be hit or miss - sounds like you got a "miss" - GL
